Communication has taken on an increasingly central role in public and international relations. It is through all forms of communication, from media relations to digital channels, that strategic goals are achieved today in the institutional field, in political activity, in the business world, in Europe and in the broader global context.

Communication in International Relations

GOAL AND CONTENT

The training programme aims to convey all the skills necessary today to work in the communication field at the international level.

The programme is designed to train profiles who intend to operate in the public and private sector. The main professional opportunities include international public relations, communication activities of institutions, multinational companies and NGOs, international press offices, digital communication departments of companies that export, consultancy in the field of international communication.

Through an in-depth analysis of techniques and tools and significant case studies, the following topics will be covered: international communication strategies, press office activities, communication of Made in Italy, nation branding strategies, new technologies applied to international communication, organization of events and protocol, intercultural and crisis communication, public speaking, creation of multimedia content for the web, social media and digital PR.

ADMISSION

The training programme is addressed to graduates and near-graduates in all disciplines, directors and officers of the Public civil and military administration, embassy officials, executives and officials of the private sector, journalists, press officers and young professionals interested in gaining more skills.

CURRICULAR INTERSHIP

Completion of the training course may be followed by a non-compulsory curricular internship lasting three months at the offices of public administrations and bodies, international organisations, institutions, private associations and companies.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION

The evaluation of the issuance of the final Diploma will be based on participation in educational activities, test results, the attendance of at least 80% of the lessons and of the preparation of the final Project Work.

ENROLLMENT

The fee is € 4.000,00 of which € 300,00 is non-refundable, and it shall be paid at the time of enrollment to SIOI bank account – IBAN code: IT79X0200805181000400118070.
