On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate General of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, a project was completed for the training of 15 Yemeni and 5 Palestinian diplomats on the themes of peace, international security and the European Union. The session “Peace and Security” was held at SIOI from the 6-15 of December and issues addressed included UN reform, the system of collective security, the processes of democratization, the protection of human rights and minorities and security strategies of the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
