A special dialogue with Ms. Susanne Baumann: “50 Years Germany in the United Nations – Where do the UN and Germany stand?” | 28 June 2023

SIOI-UNA Italy and the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UN Organizations in Rome are organizing a discussion event with Ms. Susanne Baumann, State Secretary of German Federal Foreign Office for Master students of SIOI, World Food Forum delegates and Young Professionals under the title “50 Years Germany in the United Nations – Where do the UN and Germany stand?”. The event will take place on 28 June 2023 from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm at SIOI, Piazza di San Marco 51, Rome.

Ms. Baumann will discuss with students and young professionals Germany’s role and engagement in the United Nations with particular regard to Germany’s contributions in the fight against hunger. Ms. Baumann will be followed by a short intervention of the Italian UN Youth Delegate Giulia Tariello.
