The Master’s degree, organized by SIOI and Unitelma Sapienza, intends to promote the training of experts in international cooperation with specific expertise in international relations, in the planning of interventions of cooperation and in risk management.

GOAL AND CONTENT

The Master’s degree, organized by SIOI and Unitelma Sapienza, intends to promote the training of experts in international cooperation with specific expertise in international relations, in the planning of interventions of cooperation and in risk management. In four subject areas, the program analyzes main aspects related to topics of international law, the protection of human rights and economic and social cooperation in conjunction with a major geopolitical framework of crisis areas. The seminars of specialization also have an innovative character and complete the curriculum by improving the skills of personal development.

ADMISSION

The Master’s degree in international Functions is for young graduates in all disciplines and graduating students who will achieve a degree by the end of the course, interested in working in the field of international cooperation, in International Organizations or NGOs.

PROGRAMME

The course has a total duration of 12 months (1500 hours) including educational training activities, individual study, preparation of tests, final project work and curricular internship.

At the end of the course, students will prepare a final Project work (15 CFU), which consists in writing and discussing a thesis on a theme consistent with the modules of the course and approved by the Director of the master’s degree. The final paper will be discussed by the candidate and submitted for evaluation by the Commission for the achievement of the master’s degree.

CURRICULAR INTERSHIP

SIOI offers to young graduates the opportunity to undertake an internship in international organizations, public or private.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION

The evaluation for the issuance of the master’s degree will be made on the basis of participation in educational activities, the attendance of at least 80% of the lessons, the passing of final tests and the defense of the individually prepared thesis whose theme is to be chosen from one of the four subject areas.
