International roundtable “Uzbekistan and Italy: New Facets of Cooperation” | 29 May 2023

The international roundtable “Uzbekistan and Italy: New Facets of Cooperation” took place at SIOI, Rome on May 29, 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm. The Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI), the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Italy and the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) jointly organized the event.

The roundtable has been a platform for discussion on the perspective of cooperation between Italy and Uzbekistan in their bilateral and regional aspects. It elaborated on the strengthening of cooperation in the areas of policy, trade, efficient energy consumption and green economy, science and higher education, transport and logistics, as well as security and stability in the region.
